Past events – Sessions with the Surgeons:
Presentation 1: An Introduction to Breast Reconstruction Dr Chris Jardim.
Dr Chris Jardim will talk about breast reconstruction, comparing and contrasting the different types of breast implants and their applications in reconstruction.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this activity, participants will have a well-rounded understanding of when to refer for breast reduction, rejuvenation options post partum and breast reconstruction post breast cancer.
Presentation 2: Acne Management with Dr Kate DeAmbrosis.
Dr Kate DeAmbrosis is a Specialist Dermatologist & she will discuss the management of acne in 2025, recapping the pathophysiology and treatment approaches.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to recall pathogenesis mechanisms, identify the different severity gradings of acne and develop individualised patient treatment programs for their acne patient.
The learning outcomes from these sessions are suitable for GP clinical practices.
